MEET GINA

I'm Gina, the founder and owner of OTTO Home & Interiors. I built this business from pure love of creativity, interior styling and design.

My love of creativity and design began at a young age. From School, I went on to study at college and gained a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Art and Design. During my time here, I was awarded certification in Textile Design, Surface Pattern, Printed Textiles, Visual Recording, Production Techniques, Marketing and Ideas, concepts and various other subjects within Art and Design.

 

In 2015, I Graduated University with a First Class Honours in Fashion from Norwich University of the Arts. Here, I took on research, development, collaborations and innovation over 3 years and showcased my final collection in London.

 

In 2016, I became a mum to my gorgeous girl. I began to channel my creativity into my surroundings as I spent time in our first home as a family. I fell in love with the way a little lamp or candle scent could create calm, the way paint colours and wallpaper elevated a space and the way cushions and throws created cosiness. I used everything I had learnt during my studies to channel into interior design and styling.

I set up social media accounts to share my own home as well as interior styling tips and tricks. I began creating mood boards to give inspiration for other people and their homes and began receiving messages from new followers, who turned into clients.

 

During Lockdown 2020, our family grew (our beautiful baby boy was born) and I used the time at home to keep creating mood boards, sharing interior inspiration and projects, which kept me focused, busy, but also provided growth for my account and designs.

August 2023, I decided to turn this love into a business. OTTO was born!  Since then, I have collaborated with some amazing clients. I used my draping knowledge and skills from university to style a photography studio and was welcomed into homes to design living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms. 

​

Here we are, 2025! I am currently designing a special space that I call OTTO HQ! It is based in Beccles, Suffolk and will be the hub and workspace for my projects. The door will be open to all projects big and small. I can’t wait to see you soon!​​
